Stenodynerus chinensis

Body color black with a yellow band on the posterior margin of the first and second gastral tergites. Teglae blackish brown. In lateral view, the boundary between the horizontal and vertical portions of the anterior part of the first gastral tergite is not angular. This species nests in bamboo tubes, etc., with mud partitions, and hunts larvae of moths including Tortricidae.
