Isodontia harmandi
(Pérez, 1905)
Body black, hind femora, tibiae, and femora red. This wasp nests in burrows in dead trees or bamboo tubes, using mainly moss to make partitions. It hunts tettigoniids for larval food. Multiple larvae often coexist in a single cell. This species is often found in relatively moist environments such as forests along streams, possibly because it uses moss as nest material.
