Body black, face and clypeus covered with silvery hairs. Petiole longer than first gastral segment. This wasp nests in cylindrical spaces such as holes in dead trees or bamboo tubes, partitioning cells with dead leaves or stems, which often protrude from the entrance. It hunt tettigoniids for larval food.
