Dipogon conspersus

Body black, entirely covered with grayish-white fine hairs. Females have numerous long erect hairs on the lower part of the middle and hind femora. Females of this genus have a very long, curved bundle of bristles at the base of maxilla. This genus, which has many similar species, is principally forest dwellers, whose nests have spindle-shaped cocoons in cells.
