Sceliphron deforme (Smith, 1856) Body black, with yellow markings on pronotum, mesonotal pleuron, scutellum and propodeum. Posterior margins of first and second gastral segments reddish brown. This species is not basically a tube-renter, but sometimes builds pot-shaped mud nests in thick bamboo tubes. It hunts salticid spiders (jumping spiders).
