First gastral segment club-shaped, narrow at base, gradually widening distally. Almost entirely black, but tibiae and tarsi of forelegs and middle legs yellowish brown. This wasp, one of the smallest species of the genus Trypoxylon of Japan, hunts mainly spiderlings of the family Aranenidae or Theridiidae.
