Trypoxylon rufimaculatum

First gastral segment club-shaped, gradually widening distally. Gaster black. Legs of females often black and yellowish brown, sometimes almost entirely black. This species is very similar to Trypoxylon varipes, but the female head is more rectangular in frontal view. It hunts a variety of spiders including those of Linyphiidae.
